Boethel Joins Siemens Building Technologies

Siemens Building Technologies Inc., Buffalo Grove, Ill., announced that Carey Boethel has joined the Security Solutions Business Unit as senior director, Business Development.


Boethel has more than 15 years experience in the security industry. At Siemens, Boethel is responsible for managing the effective implementation of the Business Unit strategies and programs in the field organization. “Carey brings a wealth of security industry experience to Siemens,” said Bernhard Veitl, interim Business Unit head. “He has a proven track record and vast industry knowledge, and he will be a great asset to our team.”


With U.S. headquarters in Buffalo Grove, Ill., Siemens Building Technologies Inc. employs 7,400 people and provides a full range of services and solutions from more than 100 locations coast-to-coast. Worldwide, the company has 28,000 employees and operates from more than 500 locations in 51 countries.
