Brink's Featured on Renovation TV Show

Brink's Home Security Inc., Irving, Texas, donated a state-of-the-art security alarm system as part of its participation in Fox TV's "Renovate My Family." The system was installed at a home in the Watts area of Los Angeles during recent filming for the upcoming season of the show.

For the show, which airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, families in need are selected, then expert teams renovate their home and help family members remove other obstacles to their goals.

The home of the family on the show is totally renovated, and Brink's Home Security got involved at the beginning. "We met with production, walked through the house to review the layout, then discussed the best equipment to meet their needs," explained Tony Cervantes, general manager of Brink's Los Angeles branch.

Brink's Home Security sent a crew of three highly trained employees to the site, who worked quickly, efficiently and safely to complete a quality installation in the midst of a hectic renovation effort. The crew was Cervantes, Job Rivas, technical manager, and Lonnie DeVito, supervisor. All three work out of the Los Angeles branch.

"We're pleased to be associated with a show that improves the lives of families who are working to overcome obstacles to their goals," said Dwayne Sigler, senior vice president of marketing for Brink's Home Security, adding that the company plans to participate in a number of the shows.
