Grifco Precision Products, West Gosford, Australia, a manufacturer of industrial door operators in Australia and New Zealand, has been acquired by The Chamberlain Group Inc., Elmhurst, Ill. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Chamberlain manufactures residential garage door openers, commercial door operators, residential and commercial gate openers and related access control products.

Grifco has been family-owned since 1914. The company has grown significantly in recent years under the direction of brothers Scott and Sean Nicholson. The Nicholsons will continue to manage the business under Chamberlain’s new ownership.
