ELANs Tech Week Registration Open to Dealers

There is still time to register for Tech Week 2008 to be held by ELAN Home Systems, Lexington, Ky., at the Marriot Griffin Gate Resort May 13-16 in Lexington. Tech Week is an intensive, three-day technical training event on home entertainment/audio, IP-based control solutions, and luxury home theater that is specifically designed and produced for ELAN technicians, installers and programmers.

This year, the program has been expanded to include full training from ELAN’s closest sister companies, Sunfire and HomeLogic, as well as Tech Week Sponsors. It will bring together 300 custom electronics technicians from around the globe for a single purpose: to hone their skills and share knowledge.

Three different levels of hands-on and classroom training are offered to match attendees’ experience and educational requirements. All attendees will gain intensive systems connectivity training with 30 hands-on, custom-filled equipment racks specially designed for Tech Week.

More than 133,000 ELAN University courses have been taken and more than 5,200 certifications issued, with over 5,100 students participating.

Registration for ELAN Tech Week is limited to 300 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for registration is April 1 with limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tech Week fees are $325 for the conference or $799 for both the conference and hotel accommodations. Both fees include all Tech Week training, seminars, activities, events, materials, promotional items, and most meals. Additional registration information can be found at www.elanhomesystems.com/techweek.

At ELAN’s Tech Week 2008, 300 installers, technicians, and programmers will gather for full training from ELAN’s sister companies, Sunfire and HomeLogic as well as other leading industry manufacturers that have signed on as Tech Week sponsors, such as Lutron and Middle Atlantic Products.
