Hackett Security is offering the Sur-Gard System II, an IP monitoring system that provides high-speed central station monitoring through a computer or computer network. The system reduces the standard transmittal time by about 80 percent and does so without the need for a land-based telephone line. Utilizing a customer’s cable modem, DSL or high-speed connection, it transmits all of a customer’s key information instantly to the operator’s screen at Hackett Security. Hackett can then quickly contact the proper authorities and/or forward the information to a landlord or business owner.
