IQ Certification Is Re-branded

The Installation Quality (IQ) Certification Program has introduced a newly redesigned logo, which marks the first phase of its re-branding effort. Accompanying the new logo is a new tagline, “The only quality control program for installations, maintenance and service of electronic safety systems.”

“Our new logo is a visual representation of our goal to make IQ Certification the ‘badge of honor’ for those companies that have met the program’s criteria,” said Dale Eller, executive director of the IQ Certification Program.

One of the main goals of the overall re-branding is to communicate that IQ is much more than a false alarm program. In the coming months, IQ also plans to revamp its Web site to not only incorporate the new logo and tagline, but to add more information to the site, including messaging specific to IQ Certified companies, consumers and public safety.

IQ Certification is the only dealer-based quality control program for electronic and life safety systems. In order to earn this seal of approval, companies must pledge to adhere to a stringent code of ethics and to provide top-notch maintenance and service. They also must train their employees in industry-recognized programs, meet all licensing requirements and carry proper insurance coverage. Most importantly, companies must demonstrate that they are meeting these requirements annually in order to be re-certified.
