ADS Security (ADS) chief executive officer, Mel Mahler, was
presented with the Central Station Alarm Association’s (CSAA) Stanley C. Lott
Award while attending the 2010 CSAA Annual Meeting this past week in Marana,
Arizona. This award is the CSAA’s highest honor and recognizes those whose
industry contributions have been significant over the span of their careers.
The Stanley C. Lott Award was created to honor the memory of
an alarm industry leader who was instrumental in establishing the CSAA Five
Diamond Central Station concept, which encourages a high level of industry
professionalism and service excellence. The award is not bestowed
annually, but rather only on the years that the CSAA feels they have a truly
deserving recipient.
Mahler spearheaded Middle Tennessee’s only CSAA Five Diamond
central station at the ADS headquarters in
“The two years I sat as president of the CSAA were two truly
rewarding years,” said Mahler. “I did not know Stan Lott, but do know many
past recipients of the award and I am humbled to receive this significant
honor.”
