The Christian Science Monitor reported this week that the city of New York plans to add street corner cameras, license plate readers and sensors that can detect chemical, biological and radiological threats throughout midtown Manhattan. The plan extends a program already in place in lower Manhattan that monitors the Federal Reserve, the New York Stock Exchange and the Brooklyn Bridge. Read the story here.
