The North American Monitoring Technology Symposium and Exhibition (NAMTSE), now renamed NASS EX, will be held May 12-15 at the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal.

Tracks include operations management, sales, and technical topics. Among the management sessions are ones on motivational leadership, real responses to handle customers’ problems, compensation and incentive programs and receiver formats and upgrades.

Sales topics include recruiting, managing and motivating a sales team, reducing attrition, marketing, acquisitions, and outperforming competitors.

Technical subjects covered include an introduction to VoIP, vehicle and asset tracking, forensic video and audio, high-end integrated residential security, and bridging the gap between detection and delay.

NASS EX is open to all in the security industry, not just members of the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA). More than 70 hours of education are offered to central station managers, sales managers and leaders, installers, systems integrators, technical personnel, financial people and others. Many NASS EX sessions are approved for NBFAA/NTS CEU credits.

Earn 0.1 CEU for every 50 minutes of security-industry-related education. Please refer to the individual session descriptions to determine which are accredited.
