When the Professional Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, needed to improve the electronic security of its facilities, it turned to fellow Canton community member Diebold for assistance. Diebold worked with GE Security and CBC America, two of its security system technology partners, to donate a vastly improved system that will enhance security for visitors while providing increased protection for the national treasures housed in the Hall.
In addition to the initial needs assessment, Diebold will install the new equipment and integrate it with the hall’s existing cameras and network. Some additional cameras are being added, as well as some peripheral equipment.
Security at the Hall will be improved in many ways with the upgraded system. The DVRs will capture sharp video images from more than two dozen cameras keeping a digital eye on the interiors, entrances and parking area.
