The combined technologies are beneficial to central stations that want to use alarm monitoring and surveillance technology in a seamless solution.

Westec InterActive, Irvine, Calif., uses Dice Aegis alarm monitoring software and integrated video hardware applications to employ the benefits of remote video monitoring systems in their central station offices around the country.

Westec’s Dice Aegis software integration allowed the company to create its own specialized way of alarm monitoring control with video surveillance, digital video and voice signals handled from the Dice system. Central station operators retrieve footage at a faster rate, allowing for an immediate response time when monitoring signals.
