AvaLAN Wireless has expanded its portfolio of products with the AW-D900, an integrated, long-range non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless dome housing for PTZ network cameras, and the AW-H900 long-range NLOS wireless tube housing for fixed-format network cameras – both with a 900 MHz radio module built inside. The systems can transmit through 10 typical building walls or a grove of trees. Twelve non-overlapping 1.54 Mbps channels are available providing a total of 18.5 Mbps of data rate site-wide. The systems are plug and play, and replace costly wiring with a wireless Ethernet link that can enable remote network cameras to operate and transmit video and data. Sold in kit form with everything the installer needs in one box, the products include a matching outdoor-rated AW900x radio transceiver base station, 24VAC/40Va transformers, 2.5dbi omni antennae, a power supply, 30 ft. of Cat 5 cable, a POE injector and a mounting kit.AvaLAN Wireless Systems Inc.
