The winning foursome of the "Golf Without Guilt" AIREF/NBFAA Golf Tournament before the ISC West show in Las Vegas were (from left) Craig Summers, sales manager for Allied Fire and Security, Spokane, Wash.; Dave Kosciuk and Charlie Gallardo of Silent Knight, and Hugh Blair of Potter Signal.

Having three good golfers and a high handicapper was cited by Craig Summers, sales manager for Allied Fire and Security, Spokane, Wash., as key to winning the "Golf Without Guilt" AIREF/NBFAA golf tournament before the ISC West show in April in Las Vegas.

"We've played together at various tournaments in the industry for quite a while," Summers explained. "It's chemistry - four good guys that played together a lot and get along well and have fun. We all complement each other." The foursome came in second place at last year's inaugural AIREF/NBFAA tournament.

This year's second-place foursome consisted of Ken Parker, Bill Lew, John Bellave and Thad Gravo. The third-place foursome was Steve Firestone, Michael Harrison, Steve Dunn and Michael Ross.

The tournament is the sole fund-raising event of the Alarm Industry Research and Educational Foundation (AIREF), which serves as the research arm of the electronic life safety, security and systems industry. For more information on AIREF, visit www.airef.org.

Next year's AIREF/NBFAA golf tournament will take place on April 4, 2006. Those interested in reserving sponsorship opportunities should contact Tonja Jenkins, NBFAA director of business development, at TonjaJ@alarm.org or (817) 685-0339.
