HID Corp.’s Ligia Apparicio, and Denis Hébert, president, pose before a poster promoting the company’s BeSecure program at ASIS International 2005’s 51st Annual Seminar and Exhibits in Orlando in September. Promotion participants were given a list of HID partners that either resold or integrated HID's products, or were OEM development partners. Participants visited partner booths to collect four different colored wristbands inscribed with the words "BeSecure." When all four colored wristbands were collected, participants returned to HID's booth to enter into a twice-daily drawing for an iPOD. They also were able to select a charity to which HID would donate on their behalf, including the American Cancer Society, Hurricane Katrina Relief, and the Special Olympics.
