Honeywell Power Products released a line of access control power supplies that offers enhanced benefits to users. The HP600ULM is a popular member that offers 6A of 12 or 24 VDC power with a built-in fire door controller module. Like the rest of the line, this is both UL and ULC listed for fire, access control and intrusion systems. It features circuit-breaker battery protection, AC input and DC output LED diagnostic indicators, AC fail and battery monitoring contacts and a built-in charger for sealed lead-acid or gel-type batteries. The base supplies in this line, HP300ULX, HP400ULX and HP600ULX, are available in three power output levels, 2.5A, 4A and 6A. Adding the HPMOM5 fire door controller to the family makes the HP300ULM, HP400ULM and HP600ULM. For the ultimate in power control, adding the HPACM8 access control module makes the HP600ULACM8.
