The Partners in Progress award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide Sears Holdings, Hoffman Estates, Ill., with quality products and services, from apparel, appliances and tools to marketing, facilities design and technology. Less than one percent of Sears Holdings’ more than 40,000 suppliers earn the coveted award each year.
Bosch Security Systems, Fairport, N.Y., announced that Jack McNamara, senior fire product manager, has been named chairman of the National Electrical Manufacturing Association (NEMA) signaling, protection and communication product group. He has also joined the board of directors of the Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA).
In addition to NEMA and AFAA, he is also a member of the NFPA Technical and Technical Correlating Committees, and Underwriters Laboratories’ various standard technical panels.
