The C1030 is the flagship of architectural cinema speakers from Proficient Audio Systems, Riverside, Calif. It achieves 200 watts of power handling. The principal design highlight is a woofer and tweeter bridge that are set at a 15-degree angle with a tweeter that pivots another 30 degrees. This allows the installer to direct critical midrange and high frequencies at the sweet spot listening area. The C1030 is a three-way configuration, comprised of a 10-in. Kevlar woofer mounted in a cast magnesium basket; a 3-in. Kevlar midrange and a 1-in. pivoting aluminum tweeter. The MSRP for seven C1030 speakers is $4,000.
