Niscayah’s Nimbus 24/7 Secure Video Hosting is a subscription based service that offers end-users the ability to record, store, retrieve and view their video from both a local high-density NAS device and a remote secure data center via a web browser. The capabilities of the hardware and software also provide for audio storage and retrieval as well as real-time bi-directional audio utilizing specifically enabled cameras. System components typically include IP cameras and encoders (to connect any analog camera) from Axis. Other components include low-cost, high density ix or px series on-site (local) storage drives from Iomega which can be configured for 2 TB, up to 18TB. Local storage is used in conjunction with Niscayah’s Nimbus 24/7 head end to assure redundancy of the video recording data.
