Home » High-Definition LCD monitors for professional video surveillance
Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., expanded its network-centric line of IP video surveillance products to include a line of high-definition LCD monitors. Available in 19 in. (PL1930A) and 17 in. (PL1730A) models, the monitors address a need for imaging excellence in video security applications, especially those deploying megapixel IP cameras. Both of the ultra-thin LCDs take up minimal desk space, and can be wall- or rack-mounted using standard VESA 100 mounts, for maximum productivity in the control room. The monitors have 1280 by 1024 HD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 380cd/m2 brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Both the 17 in. and 19 in. monitors are designed to match the connectivity requirements of professional standards by offering DVI-D input, BNC video interface, analog RGB (D-sub 15) input and audio in/out.
