Thermal Cameras Provide Temperature Measurement

The A310F and A310PT from FLIR combine perimeter video security with precise temperature measurement of everything within the field of view. These dual-role cameras let operators remotely monitor the condition of components within a substation with the same cameras used to provide perimeter video security while also providing uninterrupted, real-time temperature measurement and difference analysis. FLIR A310PT is a pan-tilt system with two environmental housings, one for the A310 thermal camera and another for a day/night 36X zoom color CCD camera. It can plug and play into existing CCTV networks and IPTV security networks. A precision pan-tilt mechanism gives operators pointing control while providing fully programmable scan patterns, radar slew-to-cue, and slew-to-alarm functionality. Both camera systems are designed for outdoor use and come in IP-66 enclosures.
