The Wireless Battery Driveway Monitor (STI-34150) from Safety Technology International Inc. detects when a vehicle enters or leaves a protected driveway. Ideal for home or office, it uses a patented magnetometer sensor system. Movement of any large metallic (iron or steel) object close to the driveway sensor will transmit a signal from the transmitter to the indoor receiver, causing the included 4-channel receiver to chime and flash. People, animals and shadows will not trigger the driveway sensor. The sensor may be placed as far as 1,000 ft. (line of sight) away from the receiver in a home. For installation, the sensor can be mounted next to the driveway and the receiver should be plugged into any electrical wall outlet inside the home.
