Monitor America, a 25,000 square foot full-service central station located at Securewatch24’s new Fusion Centre facility in the Meadowlands area of New Jersey, was announced during the first day of ISC East as being fully operational. Monitor America is equipped to handle every type of monitoring service from dealers and integrators across the United States — all cloud-based business to business, enterprise level and residential services ranging from hosted video and access control, virtual security tours, real-time event reporting, PERS services, intrusion, video monitoring and video verification of alarms.
Monitor America is expected to begin formal operations by the end of January, 2013 and is expected to receive United Laboratories (U.L.) listing and other certifications over the months ahead, Stuck said.
The company will be actively developing a third-party dealer customer monitoring sales initiative and as well as a traditional dealer program, said Jay Stuck, chief marketing officer for Monitor America. “The keynote sales point will be our customer service — a service level designed to reduce attrition rates — and some new twists on traditional dealer compensation,” Stuck said. Monitor America is in the process of hiring a dealer development manager to head the program.
“We aim to set the standard in the industry for responsiveness to signals and to meet the needs of our customers,” he said. A highlight of the building is a Customer Experience Center featuring state of the art technologies available by Securewatch24. Another signature feature of the building is a 40 by 11 foot video display wall overlooking the 36-operator stadium style seating Monitoring Mission Control room, Stuck added. “It looks like something NASA might put together — our dealer customers and integrators will be knocked out by it,” Stuck added.
