SWINGHANDLE WITH INTEGRATED PROXIMITY READER

Southco launched its H3-EM Electronic Swinghandle with Integrated Proximity Reader, which includes the same intelligent electronic locking and monitoring features as the company’s original H3-EM. Additionally, it also accepts HID 125 kHz prox cards or tags and produces a standard 26-bit Wiegand output. Featuring a simple, single-hole panel preparation, the new H3-EM is compatible with standard enclosures to make it suitable for OEM integration or retrofits. When connected to an access control system, the swinghandle provides an audit trail that allows easy tracking and recording of access and demonstrates compliance with regulatory requirements.
