Trango Systems Inc. announced its 24 GHz Trango StrataLink 24 wireless backhaul solution. The StrataLink 24 is an ultra-high capacity, carrier-class, microwave point-to-point system and is built for a variety of service provider and enterprise applications requiring reliable, high-capacity connectivity between locations. The system operates in the 24 GHz unlicensed band and has recently been granted formal FCC Part 15.249 and Industry Canada certification. The StrataLink 24 reaches throughput speeds of 750 MBPS full duplex (1.5 GBPS aggregate) on a single 60 MHz channel. With XPIC/ 2+0 configurations, the system can support 1.5 GBPS full duplex (3 GBPS aggregate).
