DSC, part of the Security Products business unit of Tyco, introduced the PowerSeries Neo hybrid intrusion detection platform. PowerSeries Neo combines the flexibility of a modular, hardwired system with the simplicity of a range of wireless devices. The platform leverages a combination of various technologies infused with PowerG two-way wireless communication. At the core of the system are four new control panels, ranging in capacity from 16 to 128 zones and two to eight partitions. Each panel starts with six- or eight-hardwired inputs, two- to four-hardwired outputs and PTSN communication onboard, with the capability for expansion, additional features and services.
