Arecont Vision announced the small-form-factor product line, MicroDome. The line of multi-megapixel cameras is designed for applications where both high resolution and a minimal footprint are required. Arecont Vision MicroDome cameras will be available in resolutions of 1.3 MP, 1080p, 3 MP and 5 MP. Indoor models will be released first, followed later in the year by cameras with options such as true wide dynamic range imaging and IP66 environmental-rated indoor/outdoor dome enclosures.
