The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) unveiled an updated site to make it easy for members and industry professionals to find the information they need to run a better systems integration business. On the updated website, members and non-members will find policy updates and regulatory news, the latest research data and industry trends, and training resources for business management and leadership. The site also makes it easy for other industry professionals to locate leading low-voltage systems integrators for upcoming projects.

New Training Classes

Napco Security Technologies Inc. designed new free training classes that are available online as live webinars or archived video recordings, available 24/7 in addition to in the field with distributors and onsite. The classes are designed to provide dealers and integrators with the knowledge and tools needed to fuel new sales, incorporate more valuable services and add more residential and commercial accounts. Each seminar provides an all-around approach to generating sales by training security professionals of all skill levels, on new labor-saving technologies, new interactive, customer experience services and/or new intrusion, fire, access or reporting equipment. Each class will be interactive with a combination of lecture, workshop and include real-world application scenarios to assist attendees to become more successful in selling.

 

 

New User-Friendly Website Features Site Planning

LILIN USA launched a new website, created to provide a user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality. Formatted after LILIN UK’s platform, the site is designed to allow customers to access detailed product information and videos with the option to share information across all major social networking sites.

The Project Planner was created to help customers design a complete video surveillance system. With this tool, users can drag cameras onto a blueprint or Google Maps image of their job site, move and scale cameras based on their angle view, and create a shopping list of the products they require to complete a LILIN system.

 

 

Power Learning Video Series

 Minuteman Power Technologies provides information about the selection, installation, and maintenance of UPSs (battery backups), surge suppressors, and other power protection products in a series of instructional videos on its website. The videos provide helpful information about how to build a reliable backup power strategy for your organization, including which products are right for your application, how to select the proper protection, and more.
