The Hand-E-Wave from Essex Electronics is a rugged, touchless switch with advanced microwave technology, ideal for use in sterile environments such as hospitals, food processing plants and clean rooms. With a 2- to 24-in. detection range, touchless activation of the switch helps reduce the spread of bacteria. This all-weather, IP66-rated switch features stainless-steel construction and a recessed design which makes it easy to clean and sanitize. Audiovisual feedback occurs when motion is detected within the detection zone. It comes in both single-gang and mullion versions.
