Toronto Defers Verified Response Policy
The Toronto Police Service announced that it has deferred the implementation of its verified response policy indefinitely. Alarm monitoring companies should have received notice from the police department regarding its reversion to the former alarm policy, Kevin Masterman, media and communications coordinator at the Toronto Police Service told Professional Security.
“There is not a new date that we have been made aware of,” Masterman said. “However, it is definitely something that is encouraged from our perspective that alarms are verified.”
