OnSSI Driver Has Anti-Intrusion Cyber Security
As part of its recently released Ocularis 5.6 VMS, OnSSI announced the availability of a new smart camera driver that supports VIVOTEK H.264 and H.265 cameras, including onboard events generated by the cameras’ internal analytics. Also supported are VIVOTEK camera features such as 4K resolution and dewarping for wide area surveillance applications. This latest software enhancement from OnSSI allows the Ocularis recorder and VIVOTEK IP cameras to communicate with each other using VIVOTEK’s protocol to determine the model and capabilities of networked cameras, and then builds the required driver on the fly.
