The all-in-one AV20185DN SurroundVideo camera is a cost-effective solution for applications where mechanical pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) devices might otherwise be used or where multiple cameras would be needed to view expansive coverage areas. The higher-resolution panoramic view of the 20 megapixel/180-deg. H.264 camera can be used to replace up to 65 conventional cameras, according to the company. The panoramic camera provides a 180-deg. panoramic view using four, high-sensitivity, 5-megapixel sensors, each offering a 2592 by 1944 pixel view at 11.5 fps, for a total image area of 10368 by 1944 pixels at 2.8 fps. The camera also can be binned to 1.25 megapixels per sensor, increasing light sensitivity and frame rate. Both the 180-deg. and 360-deg. SurroundVideo 20-megapixel cameras offer standard hard in-ceiling mount or surface-mount configurations out of the box, plus wall and pendant mount using optional accessories.
