ASSA ABLOY Enters Lenel OpenAccess Alliance

ASSA ABLOY joined the Lenel Open-Access Alliance program (OAAP) and is in the process of integrating its offering of access control devices with the Lenel OnGuard Access security management system. Upon completion of the integration and certification, ASSA ABLOY’s family of IP-enabled locksets will operate seamlessly with the Lenel OnGuard Access system. This will allow facilities that employ the OnGuard Access system to easily extend access control to any opening using WiFi and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands CORBIN RUSSWIN and SARGENT.

“ASSA ABLOY strives to simplify the process of upgrading access control by making products that easily integrate with third-party host systems,” said Martin Huddart, vice president of electronic access control for ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions. “Lenel’s OnGuard Access security platform has earned an excellent reputation and is a perfect fit for integration with our products.”
