“According to CSAA, there are more than 2,700 central stations in the United States, and of this group fewer than 100 (less than 3 percent) central stations have achieved the Five Diamond Certified status,” Jim Callahan, COO, noted. “We are pleased and honored to be the first and only central station in Georgia to attain this certification.”

In order to achieve Five Diamond Certification, each and every operator must have not only passed the course, but demonstrated proficiency in alarm verification; proficiency in communications with the Public Service Answering Points; knowledge of electronic communications equipment; an understanding of the codes and standards of such organizations as Underwriters Laboratories, Factory Mutual, the National Fire Protection Association and others; and proficiency in the area of emergency preparedness.
