MoreInternet Protocol expert Bob Banerjee recently joined NICE Systems' Security Division, where he will develop programs and initiatives to educate, train and support the group’s network of security systems integrators and dealers.
A recognized expert in all things video, including IP video, analytics, hybrid solutions and open systems, Banerjee is a frequent speaker at security industry conferences. He has also published numerous articles in online security industry media and trade magazines, covering a range of security topics.
"We are very excited about the expertise and experience that Dr. Bob Banerjee brings to the NICE security team," said Chris Wooten, president, NICE Security Americas. "With players in the video surveillance market and technology evolving so rapidly, it's incumbent on us to educate integrators and end-users in the security eco-system to help them stay one step ahead."
Banerjee brings more than a decade of high tech and security industry experience to his new position, having also held senior marketing and global product management positions with several IT and software firms. He holds a doctorate in artificial intelligence from the Advanced Research Center at the University of Bristol, England.
