HAI Controllers Earn CP-01 Compliance
Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), New Orleans, a manufacturer of home control products, announced that its security and home control Omni family of controllers are all now CP-01 compliant.
CP-01 is a standard initiated by the Security Industry Association for security system control panels and their associated arming and disarming devices to reduce the incidence of false alarms.
HAI also introduced its wireless glass break detector, which is an omni-directional acoustic sensor and wireless transmitter. It is used for detecting the sound of breaking glass, providing 360 degrees of coverage.
In further company news, HAI launched a Spanish version of its OmniPro II controller. The new version has the same functionality as the original but is intended to make the Spanish speaking end user more comfortable with the interface.
