Linear LLC Acquires Sunfire Corp.
Linear, LLC, Carlsbad, Calif., has acquired Sunfire Corp., Snohomish, Wash. Sunfire is the newest member of the Home Technology Group, Linear's family of consumer electronics companies, products and brands.
Bob Carver, Sunfire's president, will remain with the company. No other terms of the deal were disclosed.
Sunfire has manufactured audio equipment for 20 years. Its current product line includes subwoofers, preamplifiers, receivers, amplifiers, and related home audio and home theater electronics.
