SDI Presence LLC (SDI) has acquired substantially all the assets of mission-critical systems integrator SDI Solutions LLC, ranked No. 16 on SDM’s Top Systems Integrators Report. SDI founder David A. Gupta will return as CEO.

 

Gupta founded SDI Solutions in 1996 as an information technology professional services firm serving local government, utilities and commercial real estate sectors. The firm quickly grew its services offering to include complex enterprise application deployments, mission-critical infrastructure services and integrated electronic security systems. Today, the firm’s client portfolio includes major government, airport, tolling, commercial banks and healthcare organizations, with SDI providing IT advisory services, technology deployment, and long-term managed services. SDI employs 130 business and technical professionals and credits its sterling customer satisfaction and SLA compliance records for its list of long-term marquee clients, the company reported in a press release.

In addition to SDI’s Chicago headquarters and Charleston office, the firm also merged with L.A.-based PGV Solutions, a full-service information technology systems integration firm based in Southern California started by Gupta in 2015. Coming together as SDI Presence, the firm will concentrate on its positioning as a trusted partner in its local regions to address the requirements of high-demand technology systems, including electronic security systems and enterprise applications including workforce management and customer billing systems.
