The stories that companies throughout the industry have to tell — stories of how someone saved a life, averted property damage or prevented a crime — receive recognition through the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association’s (NBFAA), Irving, Texas, annual First Line of Defense Awards.

The NBFAA is now accepting applications for 2009. To apply for the First Line of Defense award, download a copy of the 2009 Application Form and submit it to NBFAA at: NBFAA Public Relations Committee, First Line of Defense Award, 2300 Valley View Lane, Suite 230, Irving, TX 75062.

Only NBFAA members in good standing or companies who apply for membership at the time of application qualify. The incident must have occurred between Oct. 1, 2007 and Dec. 31, 2008. Applications must be completed and postmarked March 14, 2009.
