Congratulations to Sandra Jones, who received the President's Award from the Security Industry Association's Joe Grillo. Grillo is SIA's outgoing president and executive vice president of ASSA ABLOY/president and CEO of Global Technologies Div. The award was presented at a SIA member luncheon during the International Security Expo in New York in August.

"Sandy has been a relentless contributor of time and intellect to the Security Industry Association, backed by her tremendous experience and competence," Grillo said. Jones is principal of the consulting firm, Sandra Jones and Co., Chardon, Ohio, which she founded in 1990 to help companies bring technology to the security market. She has served in various capacities on SIA's board of directors for 18 years, and was a two-term president of SIA.

She currently is on the association's nominating committee and is the chairperson of SIA's New Product Showcase program.
