If you have a great security design project to share, enter this year's Elliot A. Boxerbaum Awards program and you may win a cash prize! 

The annual award, which recognizes excellence in security system design, is named after Elliot A. Boxerbaum, MA, CPP, CSC, founder and president of Security Risk Management Consultants, an independent security consulting organization providing security vulnerability assessment, master planning, design development, technical specification and project and program management support services to a wide range of clients throughout the United States and abroad. He passed away in June 2014 from ALS. 

The award — presented by SecuritySpecifiers, its annual CONSULT event and co-sponsored by SDM Magazine — recognizes collaboration, design excellence, uniqueness, creativity and administration factors that contributed to a highly successful security project. 

Security-specific design companies, low-voltage system design companies, architectural and engineering, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) firms can all apply for the award. 

Applicants can submit projects that occurred in both 2021 and/or 2022. 

Applicants submitting a qualified application will receive complimentary admission to the CONSULT 2022 event, which will be held this October in Nashville. The CONSULT event is for the physical security industry specifically for companies engaged in security engineering and design. 

The winner will be recognized at CONSULT 2022 with: 

• An award trophy
• $500 cash award
• Focused media coverage in Security magazine
• Complimentary registrations for project client and integrator
• Complimentary registration for CONSULT event
