Optex Forms New Sensor Company

Optex Inc., Torrance, Calif., has incorporated a spin-off company called Optex Technologies Inc. to provide sensors to the automatic door industry. A subsidiary of Optex Co. Ltd. Japan as is Optex Inc., the new company's officers include: Rob Blair. CEO; Nori Ueda, vice president; and Jacques Vaarre, director of sales. All worked previously at Optex Inc.

The new company will provide products and services custom-tailored to the North American market, along with a technical department and AAADM training facility.
