AMAG Technology announces the release of the first product in a group of secure, Pocket PC-based mobile security applications called AMAG Mobile Suite. AMAG’s Mobile Suite products create high-speed wireless links between AMAG access control and security management system users and their security systems. When complete, the AMAG Mobile Suite modules will enable security personnel to perform the following functions through a Pocket PC-enabled personal digital assistant (PDA): verify cardholder credentials and photo; monitor system status and performance; and receive alarm and system event information. AMAG Mobile ID is the first product to be introduced in the AMAG Mobile Suite. AMAG Mobile ID is compatible with any Pocket PC-enabled PDA that offers 802.11b wireless capabilities.
