Fire-Lite Alarms, a member of Honeywell’s Fire Group, introduces Version 2 of its MS-9600 addressable fire alarm control panel. The new version offers an optional digital alarm communicator transmitter (DACT-UD) 14.4K baud modem and two additional notification appliance circuits. The DACT-UD option allows users to monitor systems and diagnose problems remotely and download information to a PC. The MS-9600 V2 features surface-mount technology and also offers an optional second loop via a signaling line circuit, which can support 318 addressable devices (for a total of 636 devices).
