Matrix Systems, a Miamisburg, Ohio-based access control and security management solutions provider and manufacturer, is forming a value-added reseller (VAR) network to provide sales, installation, integration and customer support for its new product offerings, FrontierWeb Essentials and FrontierUniverse.

Bob Mosler, Matrix Systems’ new director of contract sales and a 28-year-veteran of security industry dealer channels, is spearheading the North American VAR network effort. Matrix Systems is recruiting resellers with security industry integration backgrounds, as well as electrical, structured cable, sound/communication and other contractor dealers for its entry-level, browser-based FrontierWeb Essentials and open architecture, enterprise-level FrontierUniverse access control products. “We’re already generating momentum with these two products that will undoubtedly appeal to the industry’s major integrators,” said Mosler, who has significant experience developing security dealer/integrator networks.

Frontier Universe requires VARs to sell and install the servers, software and hardware to meet the integrated systems requirements for all sizes of end users. They will also provide product service assisted by the expert customer support network of Matrix Systems.

Frontier Web Essentials is a browser-based system for smaller end-users with a maximum of 16 doors and 500 cardholders. It requires a simple out-of-the-box setup and is a profitable add-on for VARs that are already wiring facilities for alarm, telecommunications, CCTV, electrical and sound/communications systems.

Matrix Systems, which specializes in transportation, commercial, education, government, healthcare and industry is exhibiting the new products and conducting VAR recruitment at major trade shows, including ISC West, April 6-8 in Las Vegas and ASIS International in Orlando, Fla., September 19-22.
