ADI, Melville, N.Y. plans to expand its access control product offering to include biometric IP-based products from Suprema Inc. This will give dealers in North America access to the full line of biometric fingerprint technologies to offer a complete, cost-effective, high-level access control system, ADI stated.
Suprema offers a variety of comprehensive access control security solutions for entry level to enterprise applications. These products go a step beyond conventional access control by combining unique biometric identification with configurable access card capabilities to offer an end-to-end IP-based access control system, according to a statement released by ADI. Intuitive GUIs provide a user-friendly experience, and advanced algorithm technology provides simple on-boarding of new users. Dealers can benefit from wizard-type settings for easy installation, and offer additional returns on investment with time and attendance management, the companies stated.

The complete product offering available at ADI includes the BioStar IP access control management system, BioStar Lite embedded Web server, BioStar VideoPhone interphone application, FaceStation face recognition IP terminal, BioStation T2 fingerprint IP terminal, D-Station biometric IP access terminal, BioLite Net/Solo outdoor fingerprint IP terminal, BioEntry Plus and BioEntry W outdoor fingerprint IP reader/controller, X-Station smart IP access terminal and Xpass smart IP reader/controller.
