Cooper Notification, a division of company Eaton, added amber lens strobes to its Wheelock Exceder LED Series. The colored lens is ideal for mass notification and emergency communications environments, and delivers low current draw to allow for energy savings of 52 percent compared to competitive models, according to the company. Additionally, the Exceder LED amber lens strobes incorporate high-efficiency optics to minimize current draw, allowing for a greater number of appliances on the notification appliance circuit and requiring fewer power supplies to reduce operating costs.
