Even though the seventh annual ESA Leadership Summit is less than two weeks away, ESA continues to build on its already robust program with the announcement of two new speakers and two more sessions.

The changes occurring in the security industry at an unprecedented pace have created new challenges and opportunities for integration and installation companies. ESA’s first new session, titled “Making the Right Product & Solution Decisions for your Business,” will address these challenges and opportunities, focusing on how integrators are keeping pace with rapidly changing technology in the security industry. John Galante, president of AE Ventures, will moderate the session, and Dee Ann Harn, owner and CEO of RFI Enterprises, and Michael Pope, president of Safety Technologies Inc., will serve as panelists.

Henry Edmonds, founder and president of The Edmonds Group, a specialized investment bank focused on recurring revenue industries, will headline ESA’s second new session, titled “Maximizing the Value of Your Alarm Business: Value Drivers, Valuations and Capital Markets.” In addition to providing insight that will help attendees understand what stimulates their businesses, Edmonds will lead a discussion about value drivers, valuations and capital market conditions.

Tracy Larson, partner and president of WeSuite, a sales management software provider to the security industry, and Matt Krebs, director of security sales for the Americas at Xtralis, were recently announced as additions to the ESA Leadership Summit roster.

Larson will bring her more than 20 years of experience to her session, “Business Smarts: How Sales Intelligence Can Transform Your Business,” during which she will review the use of sales CRM software to provide real-time sales intelligence through case studies from three perspectives: owner/executive manager, sales manager and salesperson. Using real-live scenarios, she plans to provide all attendees with the ability to apply data gathered during the sales process to make proactive business decisions.

With 20-plus years in the security industry and experience in nearly every facet of security, Krebs will focus on remote video surveillance as a service in his session, “The ABCs of Driving RMR Through a VSaaS Model: It’s Easier than you Think!” In showing attendees how to derive new RMR through VSaaS, Krebs will give an overview of VSaaS options and the steps to successfully integrate this service into existing businesses.

The 2014 ESA Leadership Summit will be headquartered at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla.  The Summit will feature a robust speaker and seminar line-up to give attendees actionable and applicable takeaways that they can immediately implement, according to ESA. The event is sponsored by Interlogix, Honeywell, Axis Communications, Telguard, Tri-Ed Distribution, ADI, Altronix, Security America Risk Retention Group, 2GIG Technologies, Alarm.com, GEM Electronics, Intertek, I-View Now, Linear, Micro Key Solutions, OpenEye, OPTEX, Uplink, WeSuite, and Yale Locks & Hardware.
