HES, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, introduced its KS100 Server Cabinet Lock, a wireless access control lock designed to provide improved security in server rooms. The KS100 leverages the company’s Aperio technology, which enables mechanical locks to be wirelessly linked to a new or existing electronic access control system. The HES KS100 uses existing credentials and ID badges to extend access control from the server-room entrance door to individual server cabinets. This improves the security level of each server cabinet and adds monitoring and audit trail capabilities.
