The 2014 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) will be held in Nashville’s Music City Center. Education session will be held June 24-26, an Expo will take place June 25 and 26, and association meetings will take place June 22-26 for the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA).

ESX’s mission is to go beyond basic product demos and allow the vendors to have more targeted discussions with attendees, review implementation and, most importantly, the effects new services and technologies have on a company’s bottom line, profits and RMR.

ESX is exclusively designed for integrators’ and monitoring stations’ entire teams — from owners and senior executives to installation and service professionals, central station operators and sales and marketing staff.

At the CSAA Excellence Awards breakfast on Wednesday, June 25, the CSAA will recognize Central Station of the Year, Central Station Manager of the Year, Central Station Operator of the Year and Central Station Support Person of the Year. G4S Technology Chief Technology Officer Jerry Cordasco will kick off the awards.

This year’s keynote speaker is Tom Avery. He is one of only 41 people in history to have reached both the North and South Poles on foot and a veteran of more than a dozen mountain and polar expeditions The keynote luncheon, sponsored by Security America RRG, will take place at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25.

Avery will speak to his experience of living life beyond the limits — sharing how one person can make a difference beyond personal limitations to achieve his/her goals. He’ll also address the power of teams and the tipping point when the sum of parts becomes greater than the whole.

The education program will feature real world advice in multiple seminars. The seminar tracks provide value for all members of the management team. The program is peer driven education so you hear from executives of industry leading electronic security companies who are walking in the same shoes as you. And all courses are approved for ESA NTS Continuing Education Units.
