SentryNet Offers New Tools

SNapp, offered by SentryNet, gives both dealers and subscribers increased value-added services and new tools to save time. These include, but are not limited to, subscriber access to Watch Scroll, via the app, that allows the subscriber to view all account activity in real time. The app gives dealers or technicians the capability to view and update call lists via the mobile app. Also, viewers no longer have to go to SentryNet’s mobile portal “Netconnect” to change vital information while in the field. Dealers using the app have the ability to send their subscribers customized messages, such as promotional campaigns or anything else they would like to inform their subscribers of through a push notification, and more.

Tyco SimplexGrinnel Launches New Website

Tyco SimplexGrinnell launched a new U.S. website to address the needs and interests of building owners, facility managers, architects, engineers, contractors and others involved in life safety and property protection. The site was designed to provide a positive user experience across web and mobile platforms, and was built for quick, easy navigation, and it also has an intuitive content management system. The site features customer-focused information that profiles the Tyco SimplexGrinnell business, the markets it serves, its knowledge and expertise, and its broad solutions and service capabilities. The Website integrates with the new Tyco SimplexGrinnell social media sites, too, like LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube.

Introducing the System Sensor Doc Center App

The System Sensor Doc Center App for iPad® and iPhone® provides access to all System Sensor literature from anywhere. Owners can view its brochures, case studies, data sheets, FAQs, installation manuals, and more. The Doc Center App automatically updates to offer the most recent product and technical information; and it is fully searchable — from brochures to data sheets. The app’s bundled information keeps everything together on a single device. The app also downloads all files to a customer’s device locally, so it is recommended that anyone using it has enough storage before downloading. It is currently only available for iOS devices.

Speco Player Update Available

A new version of Speco Player for iOS devices — Version 1.4.8 is available for download from the iTunes® store. Speco Player is designed to work with the RS, WRS, WRSP, DS, WDS, NS, NSP, Zip Kit and HD DVR models of Speco Technologies. It is designed to give a user remote viewing access of their DVR. Features include, but are not limited to: store multiple locations to access and recall with one touch; ability to view in either portrait or landscape mode; ability to view 1, 4, 9, 10 or 16 channels at a time; and has iOS 7 enhancements.
